PTA Meeting tonight

Well, the kids go back to school today and we go back to meetings !!

Tonight at 7:30 pm at the George Washington Elementary School Cafeteria we will have our monthly meeting.  Come out and see what is going on in your child's school.  There will be a raffle at the end.
We hope to see many of you there tonight !!!

PTA Social Event

Thank you to all who came to the Social at Pompei Restaurant last night.  Once again, it was a success and all had fun !  Special thank you's for
Karen Brohm and Theresa Makar (and their committee) for all of their hard work putting the event together.  They always do a great job and have terrific and numerous prizes to win.  Many people walked out with their hands full with their winnings !!
Until next year, stay involved in the PTA and come to the meetings.

Our next meeting is February 27, 2012 at the George Washington Cafeteria at 7:30 pm.

It's that time of year again ... it's time for the annual PTA Social.  This year it will be held at the Pompei Restaurant in West Hempstead on February 16 !!  Get some friends together, get a table and come on out for a night of fun and a chances to win great raffle baskets.  So mark your calendars and watch for more information to come !!

Just reminding you that there is a PTA Meeting tonight.  It will be at George Washington Elementary School Cafeteria at 7:30 pm.  Please come out and join the PTA Executive Board, other parents, teachers and Principals. There will be a raffle at the end of the meeting, you gotta be in it to win it !!!
We look forward to seeing some new faces tonight.

Well, we are back into the swing of things.  We hope everyone had a very happy holiday season.  Now back to work ...
The next PTA Meeting will be January 23rd, 2012 at George Washington Elementary School at 7:30pm.
Come out and see what is going on at our elementary schools. As usual there will be teacher reports, Principal reports and reports from our Board members with important information.
I know its cold outside,
but you can do it !!
Make it a New Year's Resolution to become more involved !!  Its only once a month and think of all the information you will get.

GOVERNOR CUOMO COMING TO WH

Governor Andrew Cuomo will be coming to Cornwell Avenue School, tomorrow morning, Monday, December 12, 2011 to sign legislation that repeals the MTA payroll tax.

Yes, the GOVERNOR of New York State will be at Cornwell Avenue School Monday morning !!!
